This Privacy Policy explains how Biits Consultancy BV ("we", "us", "our") processes personal data in connection with the BIITS AI Academy mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection law.

The App is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. It has no user accounts and no login. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your card details.

We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Subscription and purchase records are retained for as long as your subscription is active and thereafter only as required to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. On-device data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@biits.be. Because the App holds no account that identifies you by name, we may need the anonymous identifier or purchase receipt from your device to locate any data relating to you.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
The App is intended for adult professional learners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated within the App or on this page.
